We aren’t sure what happened. We lost both phone and internet and the tech said it was ‘unusual’ and ‘nothing you could have caused.’ Which sort of makes us think, yep, it wasn’t us.
Jane is still having trouble getting online.

Happy birthday, CJ. I for one am very glad for the books you’ve written. They make me happy, so I am glad for another birthday wish for you.
Felicitous wishes for the next year.
Thank you! It’s been a day—but we’re back online, and we have the magic keys to get us into CC…which was why we were so frustrated about the computer crash. ๐
Happy happy, joy joy to one of the most interesting and fascinating women I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet ๐
Wishing you a joyous day and gremlin free internet access =)
thanks!
Happy birthday to both of us; mine was the 28th. Nothing beats nit-picky virgos.
I now have the keys to go in and ‘create’ things on the CC site—and Lynn explained the red lettering: seems she was working on a black screen and chose red for visibility—couldn’t use black—and forgot to change it back.
But apparently the color toggle is on her side of the wall, and I can’t get at it to ‘fix’ things like color.
That’s ok. I’m sure we can get this worked out soon. I may try just manipulating the file on my processor and re-uploading, but I’m way too tired to tackle it tonight. Give me time. It will be beautiful and legible. This was a ‘play’ file.
Jane’s back online, btw. Easy fix on that.
You say it’s your birthday? Well happy birthday to you!
Glad you’re back online too.
That’s right! Happy birthday! My mom’s is this Sunday. Sure hope you had a chance to enjoy your day and do something fun — but I expect you and Jane spend the day fussing with 1) computer weirdness, 2) servers, and/or 3) cable/wireless providers. ;(
Not good. But glad you all are back on-line.
Hah! guessed wrong! ๐ We spent most of the day partying. Did a little work in the morning, had lunch with Joan, came home and vegged for an hour or two, (actually, I “planted” a couple of the water plants we got Monday…I think Carolyn called her brother) then had Joan and OSG over for some Barefoot Bubbly and cheese and crackers beside the pond!
Then we came in and watched Hell’s Kitchen.
Very pleasant day.
Oh, Happy B-Day! Relax and enjoy! You’ve earned it! ๐
Happy Birthday. May you live long and prosper!
And may the gremlins stay away…
*makes evil avert sign*
Happy birthday! I hope this year is felicitous in every way.
Happy Birthday!!! And best wishes for many more to come!
Happy Birthday! May it be peaceful and relaxing. I hope you will be able to relax by the pond, watch the koi, and enjoy your favorite beverage. Mosquitoes are not invited!
Happy Birthday. ๐
Happy Natal Day, & talk to you after I get off work!
Happy Birthday, may all your wishes come true and happiness abound.
A very happy birthday, CJ! Enjoy your day and save room for Huckleberry Slump!
Thank you all! Part one of celebration: sleeping an extra hour this morning!
Jane got me a new waterlily, a glorious peace-rose type color, and some water hyacinth and horsetail. This should help against the pond algae!
OOooooh, a whole hour? How decadent! ๐ Well, have a happy time with the hours remaining in your natal day!
Well, hot d*** tomatoes! Happy Birthday, Ma’am!
In her office aboard “Norway,” Mallory and Talley have raised a cup, while around Dockside the Niehart clan is preparing a party. Over a smoky campfire, somewhere, Morgaine and Vanye murmur words of praise. Pyanfar takes a break from her current crisis to transmit a note. There are festive rustlings in the Russian forests, in underground nests on Gehenna and in the pristine labs of Reseune. Grandmother Ilisidi has commanded a banquet in your honor, so Bren has one more thing to worry about…:-)
Hmmm…Somehow, I suspect M&V are up to something else…. ;D
….while Cloud thinks “bacon,” and Owl wonders what the commotion is about.
