Stand by. You’ll note there are new items in the Closed Circle Bazaar.
We are VERY close to issuing two new books on Closed Circle!

Standing by…
I haven’t *really* been holding my breath (you knew that) but anticipation, anticipation. . .
Lol!
Hi Ms. Cherryh
I’m new here, so forgive me if these are well-known things.
I came looking for Chanur saga e-books (my paper copies are falling apart). It looks like you’re issuing your work in chronological (as written) order?
You’ve mentioned consistent spelling a few times, and it looks like you use a PC. Do you know about Lifehacker’s Texter? http://lifehacker.com/238306/lifehacker-code-texter-windows
It allows you to create ‘hot key’ like actions for words. For instance, you could assign the keystrokes
dot eye tab
.i
and the software would fill in Ismehanan
I use it all the time in my day job, and I would think for a writer such as yourself with those amazing names it might be a huge timesaver. It’s open source, and (AFAIK, as a computer security professional, but not a programmer) malware-free.
I am a sometime semi-semi pro SF writer, and of all the books I wish *I* could have written, _Chanur_ sits at the top along with Kim Stanley Robinson’s _Mars_ trilogy, and Vernor Vinge’s _A_Fire_upon_the_Deep. This is how first contact books should be!
Whoops. Lost some formatting there. Please let me know if anything that interests you is unclear.
Got it—I did once use something like that. Thank you. I’ll take a look at it.
Re Chanur—nothing scheduled with those: I hold the e-rights on some of my books, but others are held by DAW, etc, and I haven’t gone after the ones held by DAW, because they do keep them in issue. The ones I have are all over on Closed Circle—link on the convenient side panel!
Welcome aboard!
