As per usual we don’t advertise when we’re on the road—but we have been. We were down in Texas, and took the kittehs with us on their first multiday road trip. Pix will turn up on Jane’s site. More later when we quit vibrating. But the route was beautiful, we got many pix, and tornadoes chased us all the way–sometimes only a few hours behind us. We began to say perhaps we should call Spokane Civil Defense and advise them we were arriving and staying…
We are back!

Welcome home!
Hope you had a safe and satisfying trip. Welcome home. Hope the cats behaved.
Splendidly. They’re learning the command “Let’s go!” which means go seat yourself in the human powered conveyance with the barred safety door. We’re using it initially only when the situation is one they’ll be happy with, such as, “We’re at the hotel” or “We’re leaving the hotel now. There will be treats and breakfast service in flight.” And best of all “We’re home and we can open these doors once you’re in your cages.”
Welcome back! Can’t wait to hear about kitten adventures.
Welcome back. Sounds like a lovely trip! (Says the person who hasn’t gone hardly anywhere in almost five years now. Sure hope Russ gets a job near here soon.)
The boys loved rides when they were younger, but it’s just been too many years now. It was fun at the time, though!
Wondered at the quietude. Took it for fatigue and lots of writing.
Hey! Very glad you had a good time in Texas (presumably Oklahoma too). Too bad if it wasn’t in my city, but hopefully sometime I’ll get to attend a con where you both are visiting and say hi.
We’ve just had much needed rain and I’m making some progress on gardening. The cats must surely be amused at the hew-mon’s antics. Mine are behaving a bit better lately.
Glad to hear your two kittehz are doing so fine.
Welcome home!
I assume when we don’t hear from either of you for several days that you are on the road to somewhere. Sounds like you got a much needed rest from the general stuff of life. It always surprises me how even a few days away can refresh my enthusiasm and make me want to get back to work. Nice that the kittehs are traveling so well.
As Smartcat has observed, I would agree, and add that you and Jane use the road time to hash out your stories, to read each other’s stories aloud so the other can hear what you were thinking as well as what you’re writing and meld them into a sensible concept.
Am currently in Lynn’s “Behind Time”, about halfway through. Many apologies to Jane, I am having difficulty getting into the swing with BRM (Vol I). I’ll keep plugging away at it, though.
