Due to holiday, docs can’t do anything until Tuesday. Otherwise, transfusions have made a good difference: she’s much more herself, and your letters and Eushu’s antics keep us in a good mood.
Update 2: doing pretty well

I know you and OSG will keep an eye on Jane, and take all appropriate actions if something starts looking off. Meanwhile, please enjoy the holiday weekend (although since you largely set your own schedules, ‘weekend’ probably has a whole different meaning!) This is the weekend when we import a bunch of friends and go camping, although this year it won’t be the same, due to inability to get our favorite campground. We’ll improvise, and really, the important part is being with the friends, some of whom we don’t see more than a couple of times a year.
Just managed to get grades for students submitted (we’re one of the few colleges still on the now, very old-fashioned schedule of late starting semesters) and raced over as soon as that major task was accomplished to see how Jane is doing. Glad to see that initial conditions have quieted and Jane is feeling better. Please, both of you try to occupy your minds with pleasant, productive thoughts and not frets and worries over what the tests may show. Time will come and show what time will reveal, but it takes a huge effort of will (a bouncy kitty helps) to focus on the pleasant now.
Rest and please yourselves well,
Raesean
Congratulations to Eushu on a job well done. Keep up the good work, Eushu!
I hope you can both relax for the weekend. You have two feline nurses to help out, and it’s good to see they are settling down together. I’m sure they will take excellent care of both of you!
Both of you kick back, relax and indulge yourselves. Take a leaf from the Book of Kitteh — life is hard, then you nap.
Really, I’m just popping in to agree with the previous commenters.
BTW, your work is frequently mentioned here at WisCon, in the “she’s doin it rite” sense.
