Jane’s upper GI procedure turned up some small ulcers, nothing major. She’s in for the lower GI Friday. Stay tuned. Our crappy insurance is being crappy. More on that later.
So far so good…

From one Suffer of Ulcers to another, I wish her LUCK!
Heh, well, it figures the insurance would be crappy, given the portion of the digestive system being checked. …Yes, bad pun, and not too funny.
I hope Jane and you do fine through tests and discover the problem is eminently treatable, curable.
(That Fleets oral stuff, yee-ikes!)
My thoughts on health insurance practices are best left unprinted. (Oh, just wait ’til *they* need treatment and get denied or charged out the, ah, orifices.)
:hugs: for Jane and you.
I second that, and am sorry about the insurance making things more difficult than needful. Colonoscopies might be necessary, but DO NOT WANT. I refer you to Dave Barry’s essay on such subjects.
nothing major = really good news !
Colonoscopy is not a big deal, the prep is the worst part.
Hoping the news is clear and clean. really tough on ulcers but wholly treatable and lower GI isn’t as unpleasant as rumored…not very fun, but helpful. I was over on Amazon and they feed the blog communications to the web page they develop and noticed the posting. Sending Jane healing thoughts and that everything is easily fixed.
Thanks for keeping us updated. Still sending positive thoughts your way and looking forward to hearing good news on Friday. I wonder if the Atevi have to deal with insurance companies…..If so, I rather suspect Intent has been filed from time to time….
Yeah, I’m another one you don’t want to ask about insurance companies. Hopefully, the colonoscopy will get to the bottom of her problem. (oops, sorry about that!) In the meantime, there are lots of yummy foods that are high in iron.
