Pity I can’t divorce the idiots from the article.
amazing video. I suppose you could embed it, if its the youtube comments and following you want to avoid. if it’s the absolutely idiotic commercial.. might be stuck with that, and btw OMG.. how idiotic is our advertising becoming? have we dumbed ourselves down to a new low…?
The robot/android is strange and fascinating. The idiots are funny. The commercial is — well, designed to appeal to the idiots.

Has anyone read William Gibson? I flashed on The Idoru as soon as I saw the robot. Of course, she was an electronic projection, not an android, but they speak of the android as “learning”, which is interesting. If she has this capability. As the Idoru did.

My first thought was the humanoid persocoms in Chobits.
I thought of the Bruce Willis film “Surrogates” — not the best film ever, but the premise was very thought provoking.
