…much easier the second time around!
BTW, overstock.com is offering a refurb Nook for 99.00.
Jane’s doing what she dearly loves this time of year: decorating for Christmas!
We’re hanging a stocking for the cats, and we have wall to wall stags, mostly of crystal…lots of sparkle!
That’s a nice thing to hear. 🙂
Amazon had $89 Kindles; sold out now, I believe.
The $89 Kindles were sold out within seconds of initial offer, and the thousands of people who were closed out are up in arms.
I must confess…reading your blog sometimes reminds me of a fairy-tale or a hollywood movie. But I suppose it’s because I live in Singapore and Thanksgiving and Christmas are kind of like alien concepts to me. Christmas in the commercial sense, yes, I understand, Thanksgiving–not so much. Heh, I’m 35 and I had my first taste of Thanksgiving Turkey last year! What a novelty! Still, it’s nice to learn how you struggle with snow, which doesn’t exist here, or break ice on a pond, which again I can’t imagine doing since I’ve lived in apartments all my life. It’s a little surrealistic sometimes.
Minus 13 and blowing snow – I am ‘thankful’ that I took the whole week off, actually!
@ Min, here in southern Texas, it snows about every five years, just enough to dust the ground like frost. I experienced snow while visiting relatives and while at college. Snow is nice (I didn’t have to shovel it) but I hated sleet: cold, wet, and miserable to walk or wait in. On the other hand, most people here would imagine Singapore is an exotic, beautiful island paradise.
I don’t know how CJ and Jane manage so well, they get so much done. I’m envious. 🙂
