Dekker has nothing on me while simultaneously writing the ending of a book, handling a total file reorganization to find out what I DO have, decorating for the holidays, and trying to get the CC site online (we are soooo close!) plus get e-books in shape to go.

I’d volunteer but I’m not sure which box it’s in. (Of about eighty boxes, many with books, stacked in a storage unit. I need a bigger unit, actually, so I can go through the boxes and lose the stuff I’m never going to want again.)

I must have missed something … what is it you need help with? Just retyping and sending in chapters of Hellburner? If that’s it, and I don’t need anything other than my laptop, I would be happy to help.
Beulah, we’re scanning the old books that CJ has the rights to. We’re scanning them in and then sending them through an optical character recognition program, then correcting them as the OCR program is very stupid. So, we’re not rewriting them. But there is a list about four threads back that you could start on, if you have a scanner.
Bless you, Beulah Belle, but typing would be a lot of work. The scanning goes much faster and will end up as a file. We’re good, I think, with volunteers. We’ve got about 4-5 people on it. So it will be a lot faster.
If you feel you have enough ready hands for now, that’s good. I do have a scanner, and am still happy to help if the need arises, but I would need some direction re sending via the optical character recognition program.

The copy I have is a 1993 UK version, published by Legend Books … ISBN 0 09 926721 7 … does that help?

If my spouse can get our scanner up and running I could do some this weekend – I have all the books too. I will see if I can push him to work on this early this am and will revert if so to see what I can help with.

I have Faery in Shadow too – a 1994 Legend Books (UK) edition (I’m guessing it’s the paperback edition that matches BeulahBelle’s?) Anyway, I guess we’ll need a new post if we’re going to start scanning that one 🙂
