We are very close to the Cafe Press store, which is what Jane has been working on, thanks to a nudge from our friends, and a little swearing… We actually have a store site: we just haven’t made it visible yet, as we refine it. We’ll announce it here when we’re ready to throw the doors open.
ooh, ooh, a surprise is coming…

Hopefully not too much swearing on Jane’s part :D. As Neco said elsewhere, we can now wear teeshirts that will confound our friends and family.
So now we know where Jane has been hiding for the past 4 days. Her last post on The Captain and Lime was 4 days ago…..well, maybe 3, but with her hands hurting and all, plus her stubborn bent to get up early and go out and work in the front yard (which reminds me of a 3 mile run before breakfast), I thought maybe she was taking a break and would be posting more often.
Hooray on the store. I’ve already been asked where Shejidan is located. “A long time from now, in a galaxy far, far away….”
Really looking forward to the Cafe Press store!
I just talked with Jane on Facebook; she’s all excited about the cafe. And now so am I.
I can’t wait to see the stuff that’s going to be on there. Thanks for the update.
We haven’t near gotten all of it. But some people have kindly provided us some material, and we have more waiting in the wings. I have not forgotten the patches. They await some more technical stuff. But they are designed.
Oooh! Shiny! Now I know where to shop for several upcoming birthdays.
Poing, poing! (Jumping in excitement)
Woo-hoo! The shiny! Looking forward to it.
I’d suggest swearing in hani. Very expressive. Particularly fond of “gods be feathered.”
Firefly swearing, also quite colorful. — Though it’s hard to beat “frell” or “dren” or the ever elusive drannit.
:: ponders :: I wonder what goodies CJ, Jane, and Lynn have in store for us fans.
Now you need to work a deal for cheap ebook readers with the Closed Circle
Logo on the cover. The owners motto is if you don’t have one of these you
can’t call yourself a fan of the triumvirate.
If the prices on readers drop low enough, you could preload them with your
ebooks too. Bear in mind that this is an expansionist idea where the work
would be done by obsequious lackeys who say yes Ma’am and three bags full
Ma’am.
Otherwise Fancher will be up late at night carving Logos into the covers
and handpainting them herself.
she would, too. 😉
There are several companies that make “skins” for the Kindle. Maybe we could find a way to provide Kindle and Nook skins with the Closed Circle logo.
INteresting. Some of these companies will do a ‘custom’ skin. Look at: http://www.skinit.com/skins/ —you can get one of their Kindle skins for about 20.00. Feel free to upload our logo to make your own.
