It’s a perfectly good mass mailing type site, and they let us do this free…but your spam filter might think an e-mail with a lot of codes sent by Mail Chimp is beyond suspicious. It’s us! [waving hand frantically] Friendlies!
Check your spam filters if you haven’t gotten that email, and let us know too if you changed your e-mail addy since you bought something from us.
We will resend if you just let us know.
so far, every one of them has come into the inbox with no trouble. I’ve had no trouble downloading the new editions.
Thank you all.!
They’re coming in fine for me too, with a Closed Circle Publications email address. But then, I’ve known to expect them.
I downloaded today all that have come in so far, including a fix for Blood Red Moon. I haven’t unzipped and uploaded them to my iPad yet for Kindle (.mobi) and iBooks (.epub) yet, but I should get that done tonight or tomorrow. Not anticipating problems, since the zip files came through fine.
My one complication is, I’m going to compare files to make sure I keep the free content too. But that shouldn’t take too long.

I’m into the start of Inheritor and enjoying it a lot. I think I may be over the hump or the reading funk I was in. It feels like I’m getting back to (or toward) my old normal reading habits, and ohh, I’ve missed that.
I don’t know when Cajeiri shows up. I’ve heard fan comments, how much people like (er, associate, salad!) him too.
I notice Bren’s thoughts about human “like/love” versus atevi “man’chi” and other atevi feelings, seem to be shifting some. Good for him. A human still has to operate on human terms and adapt to aliens, just as any aliens have to adapt to human nature. But wow, what an emotional and intellectual obstacle course it is to navigate that. The Foreigner books have to be the most thorough and subtle take on alien vs. human relations I’ve read, and that’s not to slight some very fine books and videos by other authors.
Got and unzipped and I have to thank you for mentioning mailing them to my kindle fire! Not site I was aware of that feature. In the past I would have just connected the kindle to my computer and transferred the files. But emailing them premanently installed them into the cloud and no worries on them disappearing. Course still gonna backup my computer, but this is a great plus.
Cheetah arrive OK. Tarzan happy.
Haha, awesome comment, WOL.
Thank you for all my lovely Saint-Nick’s presents!
All the mails arrived without any trouble, and I’ve just downloaded all the new ZIP files. They look okay, but I’m going to wait to unpack them ’till tomorrow.
December 5th is Saint Nicholas day, the Dutch day for giving and getting presents (though the English/American tradition of presents at Christmas is gaining ground). It was going to be the first Saint Nick’s day in my life without a family get-together and without any presents, so this whole bunch of exiting new ZIP files to open just arrived ‘in my shoe’ at exactly the right moment. Thank you!
Hurrah for more prezzie days! Of course we celebrate the English/American version, but that’s not enough! We save one nice prezzie back and give it on New Year’s Eve!
Happy St. Nicholas’ Day!
All the files arrived fine, though I somehow missed one and asked Jane to resend, which she did instantly. You can’t beat that kind of service. They’re unzipped and synched to my iPad, just waiting to open and check. I don’t expect any trouble.
This was a good chance to make sure my other 3rd party purchases were still fine, so I re-synched ebooks by Diane Duane, Vonda McIntyre, and Zette here, and others.
Quite happy. I have a whole virtual shelf of newly updated ebooks to read this way. Several are brand new to me. Others are old favorites. Joyeux Noël! !Feliz Navidad!

We landed our ship, we were taken aback.
‘Cause we settled down and they didn’t attack;
We told them that we were friendly.
