Lynn Abbey’s The Wooden Sword is now available on CC. If you have bookmarked The Store, she has created a Lynn’s Books page reachable from the Lobby, just as a heads-up. We have some navigational cleanup to do over there, but start from the Lobby and you should be able to find everything.

Can’t wait to get home tonight to download it! Payment and donation already done, and email with link received.
Thanks.
There are a couple links that have turned out wonky, but I’ll get them fixed today (probably with Jane’s help)
But the download we’re pretty sure works. As ever, if you have any glitch when downloading, let us know, and we’ll fix it. Note that all download codes should come back to you at the speed of an e-mail transaction, so if it is not there within a few minutes, check your spam filter.
We also had one transaction go wonky during the installation of the new e-book last night, so it is possible if we are doing maintenance on the CC site it could cause a glitch—so it isn’t necessarily anything wrong with your transaction, just an electronic traffic jam. If it happens, we will e-mail you right back with a code.
Everything looks okay except .pdf which shows a 0 size. .mobi, .rtf, and .txt work fine.
New zip file received…Problem solved… Teething pains
You now possess a wooden sword. Strangely silent W included free of charge.
Now if you can just avoid splinters and termites and matches….
the local wise woman has recommended you acquire a shield, helmet, and perhaps some armor. However, she reckons finding a noble steed in these parts might be a tad problematic. Old Gus is a fine work horse, but he’s not much for show.
Finding a plucky young lad or lass for a sidekick, page, squire, and or love interest in urgent need of rescuing (and therefore embracing!) — Well, that could be a fine quest.
Please note, the local dragon has objected to the distinct lack of virgins hereabouts, but he says they give him gas and they’re a tad noisy, what with all that hollering and groveling….
Heheheh. Hope you liked the spontaneous funny. (Yes, I wish I could find The Dragon and the George in ebook format.)
