This site is getting larger. And larger. However, there are some shortcuts.
1. scroll up. Way up, above the banner. See that gaudy little triple box in the corner? That is your ruby slipper icon. If you click that, it will take you to the initial display of the page, with all comments folded up.
2. Getting to extra pages: you have 2 choices. On the left, there is a vertical list of other page/topics. It is also displayed horizontally in the blank just above the banner.
3. you can change the banner by clicking on it.
4. Finding Lynn’s blog (not active, while she’s been working on closed circle) or Jane’s: also to the left, there’s a Blogroll set of links. To get back here— Either use your ‘back key’ or look on their sites for a link to me.
5. looking for incriminating pix? Jane’s the ‘keeper of photos’, and has a flikr display as well as abundant illos in her posts.
6. looking for info on e-books and readers? There’s a pagelet on the topic, up above and on the left, and there’s a link on the left to e-book software which I have personally tested, used, and had no trouble with.
7. want to see if there are new comments? Look again on the left sidebar and you’ll find a guide to the last comments.
8. need instructions for registering or for getting your own avatar? That’s on the right sidebar.
Just remember: if you’re really, really lost, scroll to the top, click your ruby slippers link, and you’ll be back at the front door in an instant.
