    It seems that the ocean and atmosphere are one fluid with varying densities.

    This reminds me of Kim Stanley Robinson’s fifty Degrees trilogy, in which they dumped salt into the North Atlantic to try to arrest global warning. He must have had a preview of the science. I will immediately bookmark this page.
