Seems to me when I lived in the area we ALWAYS got them when we had a big CME and especially with auroras due to display way far south. I’ve always been curious whether there’s a link.

We’re having a dust storm? Must be south of me. Our wind is only about 9 mph at the moment.
Dunno, haven’t been out today except around noon, and it was clear then. I’ll be out on Tuesday, besides puttering around the house, in and out. Not overly dusty as far as I know.
We were on a picnic Sunday and all we had was partly sunny with a brisk breeze. No dust yet, but it rained quite early Sunday morning and might have dampened it down.
I’ll be able to tell when I see my car – dust loves it.
