Could you all do a password update, just to make sure you’re secure. Hate to ask it, but some very bad people are trying bad nuisanceful things, and you can at least give them a poke in the eye for their trouble.
Because there is a botnet action out there…Lynn’s suggesting a password change…

I changed my password, but it’s usually not nearly so critical for non-admin users on wordpress sites. I strongly recommend you bring wordpress, all themes, and all plugins up to date (there was an update message on the dashboard when I logged in to change my password). Out-of-date software is the largest weakness. I’m familiar with this issue because I run several sites that have been under attack over the past week or so, with hundreds if not thousands of attempted logins to users with names like ‘admin’, ‘admin1’, ‘administrator’, ‘sysadmin’… I recommend wordfence and sucuri plugins to help keep the bad folks out.
I reset mine, too. Loved Protector. Like Jhuygut said, it’s hard to wait for the next one.

Just discovered changing my password for CJ’s blog doesn’t change it for other WordPress blogs, such as Jane’s, but now am updated there too.
PW has been updated on all planets and outlying worlds as well.
Everything looks good. I had to re-register as my real self some time ago. I used to come to the site as Kabiu-One; but that is so pretentious, and at 67, no longer necessary. So, here I am, beloved of Miles and Cleo, a Tuxedo with a soul patch beard and his littermate, a coy Maine Coon with eye make-up to die for; a bit of a writer and a happy reader of all of Ms. Cherryh’s works. Currently, I’m in my 15th re-read of the Foreigner series, having done my “what’s happening now” read of the last volume. And so, I start from the beginning and am now with Bren and his aishiid aboard the station, arguing with captains and creating a Kabiu residence out of beige.
Am doing a total reread of Foreigner to culminate with #14, which I am forcing myself not to read until I get to the end. When that’s done, I have to choose between Faded Sun and Chanur for the next reread. So many books, so little time.
Does anyone want to do a discussion from Foreigner on out?
