I might say, for those of you wondering about size comparisons—Seishi’s breed is like a draft horse, short-legged by comparison to the thoroughbred, and with plate-sized feet/paws…and Eushu has very long legs, almost more legs than kitten at one stage. So it’s Mr. Draft Horse and Mr. Highpockets.
Eushu came into my room. Seishi lurked behind the scratching post at the door. Eushu charged him: Seishi leapt the height of the scratching post, whirled about and bounced away, tail arched and Eushu hot on it.
sounds like you are having fun watching … 😀
That attitude with the tail is like the proverbial finger.
You’ve chronicled Eushu pestering Ys. You’ve chronicled Sei chasing and flattening (as appropriate) Eushu. What’s missing from this triad is how Ys and Sei are interacting. Presumably no news is good news, but still…
One would be remiss if she neglected to mention that she came to visit Ysabel and Eushu also — who were both on their very best behavior, and as adorable as always!
Ysabel and Sei are limited to suspicious looks from Ysabel as they pass each other. There are no longer surprised hiss-spits, just a stare, and they’re passing within a foot of each other without problems.
Nice that things are calming down a bit. This reminds me of the social interaction between our three. Kiki and Aloysius are a pair. Friendly remains aloof. She was named Friendly because she loves people notother felines. However, we had a first yesterday. Aloysius was in my lap. Friendly wanted her pats so badly that she curled up on my stomach and started purring. Beyond a sniff Aloysius ignored her. It’s only taken about two years to get this far! 😮 😆
