The boxes have arrived. We’ll be selling signed copies direct from Closed Circle as soon as we can get a listing up.
Anytime you want a signed copy, do recall we do that—the list of physical books we have is on CC.

No no no. That little BIRD is so good. The IRS is neither little nor good. (screen too small to see stupid typos)
Mine landed on the doormat on Monday morning, and I just finished it, with great enjoyment. Of course, spending one book with the Atevi is never enough. I think this year’s round of re-reading will start at Conspirator and go forward from there, with the new insights putting some things in a new perspective.
I would like to know where to purchase my hardback copy so that it would benefit CJ the most. Usually I order from Amazon for quickest gratification, though I dislike what their business model has done to the local bookstores. Now that I have a Kindle, and started Intruder last night, I have time to make a considered decision.
Should I order direct from CC? Special order through my local bookseller? Barnes and Noble brick and mortar so they will continue to keep CJ’s books in stock? Does your publisher preference certain types of purchases?
We benefit most if you order one of the (few) hardbound copies we have here at CC. We have it up on CC right now, and for one week, we are offering it at 5.00 off. We have already sold about half of them (thank goodness for an inventory control calculation on our software) so do move fast. This is the first time we have been able to get a book pretty well as it comes available.
I only get 18 copies of each book, (excluding the two I keep, because a writer is responsible for retaining a copy of the book in case anything happens to the publisher.) And I sell those. When they’re gone, that’s it. Sometimes too I get a chance to buy a box of remaindered, but that doesn’t happen too often. Any book I have more than 18 of, that’s how I did that.
Thank you. I want to keep you productively writing for a long time!
Well. Finished. Now trying to figure out how far back to go to get a nice smooth political arc. 🙂
Picked up an impressively autographed Deceiver (thanks to that little bird- i am so lucky!) started back in. So many pleasures to anticipate…
PS this cover was highly felicitous. Captures so many of the essential plot elements in a most pleasing arrangement.
