Update on the Facebook site: the Three Of Us of Closed Circle would be very grateful if all of you who do have Facebook accounts would make a brief sortie up to Facebook, do a search for Closed Circle (you’ll know the logo)—which is at the moment waaaay down the list of things that come up under that name and quickly “like” it. A mass of you could do a lot for our prominence in the Facebook engine, and a lot of “likes” and even some suggestions to friends could help us out. If you want to visit our Discussion page and leave some felicitous statements on Closed Circle’s new Facebook-page, that would be nice, too. We are shamelessly dedicated to selling books, and we are about to greet our first autumn-season of operation with a modest flurry of offerings, so right now is a very opportune time. No few of the users of Facebook just don’t come to the blogs, so this is one more way we can reach people.
Closed Circle now has a Facebook site.

Hmmmm … as one of those who has resisted getting an e-book reader, this discussion has been very enlightening. I moved only half of my library to the east coast, so when I downsized, I tried to sell whole series of out of print paperbacks to the local used bookstore, and they wouldn’t take them because their readers would never have heard of the author. I ended up taking them to a local branch of the library for their book sale – but the young man who helped me unload the boxes from the car turned out to be a big SF fan so I let him keep the SF series while the mysteries and non-fiction went to the book sale. He had never heard of many of the authors – we ended up talking for an hour and I was pleased to introduce him to new worlds. But it did get me thinking that the next generation was going to be missing some great stories.
I hope you created a new fan for many of those authors.
ok, found the fb site no problem and of course clicked the like button 😉 and just added a comment on the discussion page to hopefully bring it to other’s attention…
