…jigsaw puzzles. Online jigsaw puzzles and codebreaking is my downfall…
A pretty routine day, just more to do than any 6 people can do.
Plus Jane has launched us on a housecleaning kick: a room a day. I fear I didn’t do a whole room—I’ve been tackling the bathroom, which has been a jumble of bottles. Tons of bottles. Even two women cannot use that number of bottles in a day.
There’s a front coming in. Jane decided to run the ro/di filter at 3 am, having a headache, and being unable to sleep. I had a bit of a headache myself, but I attribute it to the front.
So far I have been cooking in an immaculate kitchen, and spending half my cooking time trying to keep it that way. Jane’s gotten her room spiff. Now I am going to have to follow suit with mine. Sigh. I think I am going to shift furniture. That takes resolution.
LOL i have a natural disaster area in our downstairs – partly from some remodeling and shifting of stuff end of last year and some from the fact i tend to decorate any horizontal surface with what’s in my hand as i pass by ;P i’m not the neatest person in creation and my jewelry stuff tends to migrate easily from where it should be to where i was sitting with it last and it goes downhill from there. now my daughter and her bg are coming hopefully this weekend to take some of the extra/older furniture so i HAVE to clear the shtuff off to somewhere…
Online jigsaw puzzles? Free? If so, please tell where.

They have new jigsaw, crossword, wordfinder, codebreaker, and sudoku daily.
There are no uncluttered surfaces in my entire house. Seriously. I don’t have the attention span that it takes to clean and tidy the house. And please don’t post links to online jigsaw puzzles, or I’ll be sunk for months! 🙂
I get my daily fix at ‘uPuzzles’ but it is a subscription site. It has a wonderful collection of other types of puzzles and games too.
Ah, fall cleaning. Gotta love it!
I’ve been meaning to do that to my room…
…All summer.
XD But I’ve worked through some sewing projects (turning pants into skirts, mostly), so that must count for something!
My favorite sites:
http://www.jigzone.com/
http://www.puzzlersparadise.com/page1034.html (on-line logic puzzles… so much nicer than doing them on paper!)
and finally…. http://games.aarp.org/ No, I’m nowhere near old enough to be a member of AARP, but they have a nice selection of different types of games.
Emilyrln, that sort of productivity definitely counts! 🙂
When I worked 2nd shift Help Desk, I did jigsaw puzzles at:

I would play the 247 piece ones. I like the fact that if you get pieces close to each other they snap in place.
Cleaning? ICK. Although, a square foot cleaner is a square foot of improvement. I get excited when I take a cubic foot of stuff to charity.
I’m rather fond of Kenken. The NY Times has them:

CJ-ji, one believes the Foreigner Universe book list needs update. While it lists a fortuitous seven books, one understands an even more felicitous number have been published.
😆 thanks!
We have a tiny bedroom, under 100 square feet, that has been variously called ‘the cat’s bathroom’, ‘the captain’s quarters’ and ‘storage’. Thanks to last month’s yard sale, I have reconfirmed we have an actual floor in there!
Great for a hobby room, however. SOME day we’re going to get to our ship models.
You cannot imagine how heartening it is to find out that I am not the only one who lives with a lot of stuff. How many of us start cleaning only to have that old hind brain come up with a new/better idea so it’s off to the studio lab where ever.
I am trying for two reforms 1…get the clay off my hands before I answer the phone open doors etc. 2…keep the kitchen stuff in the kitchen and not let it migrate to my studio.
I’m considering a permanent large dumpster.
