It’s glorious. Jane’s going to take a break, then put up pix of before, during, and after. You’ll be favorably impressed, I hope.
We have only a couple of things yet to do, one of which is install the new tub handles when they arrive; and the other of which is to put the molding on the edge of the countertop, and the very short baseboard around the edge of the floor. We’re waiting on that until warmer weather, when we can clean up the garage and deploy the miter saw that will let us do those precise corners. It’s, meanwhile, beautiful even without those details.
Hip! Hip! Hooray!
The crowd goes wild!!
Glad that you got the bath done and still mostly intact and sane 😀
A shower! for the first time in weeks, a functioning shower!
DO NOT do the happy dance while trying to take your first shower — that could be problematic 😀
Glad to hear you are up and running. We look forward to pictures of the epic.
Wow — you’ll be able to take a shower without having to fend off plastic!
That sounds wonderful. Looking forward to the photos du fait accompli.
Great news! I’m looking forward to the pics!! 🙂
Nice! what a great accomplishment.
I hope that you have been bathing in the interim.
It hasn’t been easy.
Congratulations to you both! I wish you much enjoyment of the results of all your hard labour, for a long time to come. Isn’t it nice, how perfectly luxurious a really nice bathroom can feel?
And I thought I was hot stuff yesterday because I replaced the ancient light fixture over our sink with a new much brighter one. All it does besides being bright is show me the places where I missed some soap scum… 😉
