{"id":8146,"date":"2017-07-25T08:48:01","date_gmt":"2017-07-25T15:48:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cherryh.com\/WaveWithoutAShore\/?p=8146"},"modified":"2017-07-25T09:02:56","modified_gmt":"2017-07-25T16:02:56","slug":"sweet-cardamom-chicken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cherryh.com\/WaveWithoutAShore\/sweet-cardamom-chicken\/","title":{"rendered":"Sweet cardamom chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cardamom Chicken<br \/>\n1 large boneless uncooked chicken breast sliced and diced.<br \/>\n1 teaspoon ground cardamom<br \/>\n1 teaspoon ground coriander<br \/>\n1 teaspoon ground cinnamon<br \/>\n1 teaspoon turmeric<br \/>\nsalt and black pepper to taste<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp red chili flake<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp cumin seed or ground cumin<br \/>\n1 large bell pepper, diced and sliced<br \/>\nlarge handful green beans (frozen is ok)<br \/>\nmost any green vegetable that doesn\u2019t cook fast.<br \/>\n1 heaping tablespoon diced garlic in oil, or equivalent raw garlic<br \/>\ncombine all in skillet with lid. Cook with middling heat in olive oil, sesame oil or a combination. Using lid to help steam, cooking time under 15 minutes.<br \/>\nCook last while without lid to reduce liquid.<br \/>\nStir in 1 tablespoon crunchy peanut butter (you can skip this if you like: matter of taste)<br \/>\nStir in 2 tablespoons Ma Ploi (brand) Thai sweet chili sauce.<\/p>\n<p>This dish has very little pepper heat: you can adjust to taste, particularly the red chili flake: remember I\u2019m from the American Southwest. The sweet chili has practically no heat at all.
