Michael and Audrey and Jane and I are old friends, and their transport is a couple of nice friends of theirs from the Wet Side (coast) of Washington. We scooped them up after opening ceremonies and went out to the Steam Plant Grill, which is a converted steam-heating plant built in 1916, and which preserves a lot of the pipes and boilers as part of the decor. Plus pretty good food. But I will say, their Chardonnay is iffy&#8230;Two glasses at their prices should not wake you up at 4 am with the headache from hell!<\/p>\n<p>We had a great time prowling the place, snapping photos of the curious pipes and high perspectives&#8230;I hope they had a good time.<\/p>\n<p>This morning Michael and I are doing a panel on Starting Out Together (we did), and then a reading; Jane has a reading.
