{"id":4922,"date":"2013-06-10T12:41:42","date_gmt":"2013-06-10T19:41:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.wavewithoutashore.cwgservices.org\/?p=4922"},"modified":"2013-06-10T12:43:55","modified_gmt":"2013-06-10T19:43:55","slug":"naked-woman-vanishes-on-spiritual-quest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cherryh.com\/WaveWithoutAShore\/naked-woman-vanishes-on-spiritual-quest\/","title":{"rendered":"Naked woman vanishes on &#8216;spiritual quest&#8217;&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.krem.com\/news\/northwest-news\/Naked-woman-on-spiritual-quest-missing-210850041.html\">You know, sometimes because you read about somebody doing this sort of thing&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;it is not a cinch it is going to turn out well. <\/p>\n<p>The people who did this sort of thing for religious reasons were years adapted to the area, where they&#8217;d lived next to nature all their lives, knew the wildlife, etc&#8230;.and the primary practitioners I&#8217;m aware of also happened to be in warmer climes.<\/p>\n<p>You cannot decide because you have a fantasy ambition to climb down the Grand Canyon, or swim the Columbia River Bar, or pet a moose because you have &#8216;special understanding of animals&#8230;.&#8217; that nature will understand and look out for you.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand becoming one with a grizzly is possible. <\/p>\n<p>Temperatures have been sharply declining in Washington this week, and at altitude, more so: 50 degrees in one&#8217;s birthday suit is not a good thing. We have far more wind than usual, ergo wind chill is a factor, and you do not find ripe berry bushes in June&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I hope for the best, because I do, but sometimes I just shake my head in wonder&#8230;and feel for the people who have to trek out into the woods after her.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You know, sometimes because you read about somebody doing this sort of thing&#8230; &#8230;it is not a cinch it is going to turn out well.
