WISCONSIN----we ran into very nice people. I recommend the Country Kitchen at Janesville for breakfast. Very wonderful folk. And the drive is interesting. I was surprised to reach the Wisconsin Dells, expecting dairy farms, and it seems a region of elaborate water parks, which might be a great deal of fun. I hate to mention the obvious, cheese, but the Amish sharp cheddar is a treat. You can get it in various places. I had always pictured Wisconsin as flatter, but it has very respectable hills and vistas, and we hope to get better pictures on a return visit.
