MICHIGAN........we found Ann Arbor quite a nice city, and all along the highways moved excellently well. Weber's Hotel in Ann Arbor is a nice luxury stop, but they don't take pets. Over all, we found Michigan a beautiful state, wooded, with lots of wildlife---a groundhog was standing by the road as if to hitch a ride, and a golden eagle swept very close to the car, on the northern route. We used 94 going toward the Canadian border, but I do advise you what we learned on our return trip: that the crossing at Windsor is slow and not well-signed; that up by Port Huron to Sarnia is faster and less trafficked.
