THe fact both of us were short of breath on a 4 block walk says something, eh? 9 Comments kokipy on May 19, 2012 at 7:54 pm I think, whatever the diet, one would want to be able to function effectively in the physical universe. I was horrified, the other night, to be somewhat breathless upon walking up from the train station to the house. skater will know what I mean. Horrified. Incapable. Old. Fat. OMG, as the young ones say. Log in to Reply WOL on May 19, 2012 at 8:44 pm *applause* Log in to Reply sweetbo on May 19, 2012 at 9:06 pm It must of just been from too much chatting while walking. That has to be it. 🙂 Log in to Reply smartcat on May 20, 2012 at 4:46 am I’ve been putting out all the plants I’ve wintered over. Downright humiliating to find the lack of stamina for carrying stuff around. Tomorrow I’m redoing the exercising area. I know there is a floor in there somewhere. As far as I know levitation has not yet come to this world. 😉 Log in to Reply pence on May 20, 2012 at 9:26 am I’m blaming it on the pollen and air pollution. And resenting it. I may have to volunteer at an Antarctic station from May through August! Log in to Reply weeble on May 20, 2012 at 6:04 pm Oh not Antartica in the winter!! Indoor air all the way, which is almost worse than fresh pollen laden air. (I did say almost!) The summers I worked with the Alaskan fishing fleet were the BEST as far as allergies go, and they were sunny and somewhat warm (well, for ALASKA, I mean!) Open ocean air, not a trace of pollen to be had. You actually get used to the fish smell, after a few weeks. We’re trying, but sometimes the schedule doesn’t cooperate. Log in to Reply CJ on May 20, 2012 at 12:18 pm lol—we’ve tried that. 😉 Log in to Reply chondrite on May 20, 2012 at 3:25 pm It’s a valiant effort, but I think eventually it’s going to go the way of “It’s not a rule; more like a guideline.” 🙂 Log in to Reply Submit a Comment Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
