New Foreigner Book!

Day of extreme effort—-Jane (who hates mud)—

—got the stream and lotus pond finished. And I (who hate shopping) went and made the massive grocery run (well, massive for us) and got it all done.

We are exhausted. But it all works! And I found everything I needed.

And—happily—the lotus shipment just arrived at the pond place, and I reserved one called Green Maiden.

Ignore the later images: it’s a greenish bud that opens to a white and yellowish flower with a pink blush.

So glad to hear everything is moving smoothly. One just found out last night that my best friend and fiance are eloping to Las Vegas this weekend, with a planned wedding time within a couple of hours of you two. It will be an afternoon of champagne for me, as well as extreme happiness for all my newly married friends.

    Lol–well, best to all concerned!

Ms CJ, we are 16 hours ahead of you here in NZ. I might forget to wish you all the best on your happy day later on today. So bestest wishes to you and Ms Jane on your special day. Hope the ceremony is everything you want it to be. Enjoy your extra special day with your close framily. I hope the weather co-operates for you with only light winds and brilliant sunshine. Here, we are in our last month of Fall heading into Winter but they are forecasting 15 deg Celsius and 18 deg Celsius for Sunday, so nothing to complain about with the weather here. We did have a frost yesterday, our first for the season. Forego the diet for the day and enjoy those yummy cakes.

Congratulations again! I’ll be thinking of you and Jane, and will raise a glass of something good in your honor. I wasn’t able to send a pic for the “guestbook” – no camera, no cellphone cam, and even my laptop camera mysteriously disappeared when I replaced the hard drive. But I’ll be there in spirit! Enjoy! 😀

Congratulations again. I’ve sent you both an ecard at the usual address. It will come from jacquielawson dot com. I couldn’t resist the lotus theme.

Congratulations to you both! Prayers for the perfect weather, hopes for no hiccups to the planning, a fairy wand for bright bits of magic, and solemn blessings for love and laughter to fill long years together 😀

Oh my! It appears that I am crying at this wedding!

  • TabCat2

Hope your day is perfect, sunshine and blue skies and friends and the two of you. So happy for you!

  • sturmvogel

Y’all have waited a very long time for this day and I’m happy that y’all can finally tie the knot. My best wishes to both of you.

  • Aw, the lil guy is tee-rrific! — The tuxedo, pillow, and bracelets are pretty awesome too.

    A toast:

To Carolyn and Jane, may you now and ever always be happy and healthy together, and may you create much writing and art!

Best Wishes from Ben W. | BlueCatShip

(Only I could manage to make the cork fall down *into* the bottle! The neck is now quite wrapped in foil, until I can get some cork. Heheh. Oh good grief! LOL!)

    • smartcat

Ben, you are not the first to end up with the cork in the bottle, believe me. I have found that four or more layers of plastic wrap with a rubber band securing it works well, even with champagne!

  • Congratulations! Best of luck and a long and happy together! I hope you both had a WONDERFUL day!
