oh dear, poor Sal, he did have to be helped out of this world this afternoon, his kidneys were not doing well, and the meds stopped helping hie vestibulitis (?) … very sadly I was not there, and my assistant and my dog carer had to deal with things. so he is buried next to Soozwhippet in my garden. but he was calm and settled and had lots of cuddling to go out with.
Oh, purplejulian, I’m so sorry. So many people here have lost beloved companions recently. My heart goes out to one and all.
purplejulian – so very sorry. And it must hurt, being unable to be there, but it sounds as if he had caring friends, and I’m sure he knew you loved him and were thinking of him.
Oh PurpleJulian, I’m so sorry to hear about Sal. Very hard that you were not there but glad he had some folk he knew with him. There’s a Sal-shaped hole in your household now, unfortunately just as many of us have holes in our lives from the loss of beloved pets. My condolences. What a rough year it has been for folk — so many transitions in our lives.
