link please? (yes really, hyperlinks are en vogue.)
http://blog.bookviewcafe.com/2010/02/04/words-from-the-wise-cj-cherryh
(and I agree – because I’m reading this blog on a feed, having to start up a different browser and root around for links is annoying. Please add them to the text itself.)
Thank you!
Links are not only a comfort for the reader, they are also juice for the search engines. Always propagate your marketing!
(This of course is completely selfish: If your business with Closed Circle works good, I expect to see more e-books to buy there. So I get at your currently mostly inconvenient unavailable backlist … )
Thank you CJ for taking the time to write & post your thoughts & history in that article . I’d like to thank as well Lynn & Jane for their painstaking time in getting CC up & running and for posting their thoughts on their blogs concerning the dilemma . JimL
Interesting insights into the industry. Makes me even more hopeful that e-books and single print books will be successful. It will take a while, but you’re on the right track.
Well spoken.
Thanks for your insight….you are always so articulate. The tax laws for artist inventories are insane…(.I’ll stop before I rant.)
Keep fighting the good fight; we are right behind you!
Thank you all.
Peripherally apropos of this post, the Us Dept of Justice has put out an opinion on the Google Amended Settlement. http://community.livejournal.com/sfwa/127992.html They clearly feel it needs more work. “In it current form, the ASA is inconsistent with the policy of the Copyright Act”
People have been telling Google that for a considerable time.
Yeah, but maybe it will have a little more weight coming from the Attorney General’s office, I hope. At least with the judge, if not Google.
